In other words, it groups particles together, making it easy for your filter to remove them. Use this professional strength Super Clarifier weekly and enjoy a sparkling, cleaner looking pool. Super Clarifier is ideal for sand and cartridge filters, but is not recommended for use in DE filters. Initial Dosage: 4 ounces per 10,000 gallons. Weekly Dosage: 2 ounces per 10,000 gallons. To use In the Swim Super Clarifier, first start by cleaning or backwashing your filter. Now, add the appropriate dosage of Super Clarifier per the volume of water (4 oz per 10,000 gallons) into a chemical-safe container. Mix with at least 9 parts of water, pour around the perimeter of the pool with the circulation system running. One dose every 48 hours with continuous circulation until there is no more cloudy water.
